Today I was asked – What is a mature person?

And after feeling a bit into this, a wonderful perspective came to me – A mature being is one that stopped feeding from others (physically, emotionally etc.) and at least started to take responsibility for their creation.

Many times, they don’t think in these terms, but you can see it in them. They have a certain calmness and charisma; they tend to smile a lot and actually they are in great service to others as they have the wisdom of owning their experiences through example.

They are amazing by all means. This doesn’t mean perfect by human standards, but they don’t play the victim games anymore and have great compassion especially for themselves in their own delicate times.

Some of them might be at the threshold of their realization, but that’s another discussion.

What is your perspective? What do you feel about this question?
